The United State’s first public online-only library is now open! The DPLA (Digital Public Library of America) combines a number of digital collections and archives available in one free, open-source resource. The database is easily searchable and includes text, photos, and audio recordings from its many partners, including the Smithsonian, the National Archives, New York Public Library, and Harvard University.
