Monologue Intro Workshop

12 yrs old -19 yrs old

This is a special class for homeschooled teenagers who have graduated out of our normal Reader’s Theatre class (age requirement) and are looking for something a little more challenging. This particular session will be an introduction to a monologue and how to tell a story in just the paragraph long text. There will be options for monologues from Shakespeare and other plays.

There is no registration and NO ACTING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.


 

Spanish Fiesta

K – 2nd Grade

November 20th

6:30pm – 7:30pm

Basehor teen Alyssa Ward has created a program through Basehor-Linwood’s new Innovation Academy. The program is designed to pique student’s interest in learning Spanish and to encourage them to take a foreign language class later in school. The event will include coloring, bingo, and other fun activities while incorporating simple Spanish vocab.

This will be a free open program (no registration).
